Battle of the WivesI giggled as Jack fell on his ass, in an attempt to walk towards me. He was just so cute with his determination to get his balance just right. Jick, my husband, laughed quietly next to my ear. We were on the couch, I was leaning lazily on him and he had an arm splayed around my shoulders.
Jilia rolled her eyes as the attention was focused on her brother; she tried to steal the spotlight whenever she could. And it never failed to grasp Jick's favor.
Jack was my little boy though. I don't play favorites-I loved both Jilia and Jack equally, but my son and I were closer to each other than I was with Jilia.

The cold icicles of rain hit Maylia's skin relentlessly, despite of the tree canopy's weak shield above her. She looked up with narrowed, Sith yellow eyes as if she wanted to reprimand the clouds for raining on her when she obviously needed some sort of hope.
Her stiletto heels sank into the damp ground that was softened by the water that fell from the heavens, making the young twenty-seven year old Sith Apprentice hiss and curse in frustration. Endor was a foreign place to Maylia, and she did not expect such a green, floral planet. And it certainly did not help in any sort of way that a band of space pirates were on her tail, searching for the now charred remains of her ship.
Flames licked the ship hungrily, tasting the delicious metal and devouring it. While the rain helplessly poured on, the fire raged on with such ferocity that Maylia could feel the heat standing ten feet away.
